My Fox Philly: The war between Jon and Kate Gosselin, and Jon Gosselin and TLC gets nastier.

kate gosselin talking
On Saturday, Kate Gosselin returned to the couple's Wernersville, Pa., estate and ripped down a sign posted by Jon Gosselin that barred TLC camera crews from the premises.

The sign on the gate of the Gosselin estate told TLC that their film crews will be arrested as trespassers if they enter the property.

On Thursday, Jon Gosselin and high-profile lawyer Mark Jay Heller went on the Larry King Show to demand TLC stop any version of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" from being filmed.

Heller also said he expected to file litigation against TLC.

The former reality TV dad and Heller, who once represented the Son Of Sam killer, are on a full-out media blitz against the network that produced "Jon & Kate Plus 8."

That show is now off the air , for now, after Heller claimed TLC violated child-labor laws in Pennsylvania.

Heller was seen on clips that will air on Entertainment Tonight on Friday comparing Jon Gosselin to David and TLC to Goliath.

Gosselin, 32, is seen nodding his head in agreement with Heller, and telling an interviewer he "finally has a lawyer who will stand up for me."

Gosselin also tells Entertainment Tonight he does not want his children on TV anymore.

Heller also released a media statement that blamed TLC for Jon Gosselin's divorce from Kate Gosselin, repeating the mantra about TLC as a "monster."

"Jon is resolved not to allow the TLC Corporate machine to devour his family and promote the monster's best interests over those of his family. TLC and Discovery have been reputed to have generated approximately $186 million dollars for the quarter - compliments of the Gosselin Family, and Jon firmly believes that their greed to continue that cash flow will be trumped by his courage and determination to protect his family," Heller said.

Both TLC and Kate Gosselin issued statements earlier on Thursday ripping Jon Gosselin and Heller for their attacks on the cable network that was paying the family a reported $70,000 per episode.

Heller said on Thursday that he won't allow TLC to film Jon Goselin's children in any TV project because of concerns about their welfare.

That announcement and Jon's decision to evict TLC from the couple's Wernersville, Pa., house was a bombshell in the TV world.

Kate Gosselin issued her own statement on Thursday that infers the Jon is exploiting the kids.

"I'm saddened and confused by Jon's public media statements," Kate Gosselin said.

"I do the show for my family because I believe it provides us opportunities we wouldn't otherwise have. Jon used to share that belief until as recently as the day the network announced the name change of the show and indicated that Jon would have a lesser role in the show. It appears that Jon's priority is Jon and his interests. My priority remains our children and their well being."

TLC halted production on 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' after Heller claimed TLC violated state child-labor laws.

Heller has sent two cease-and-desist letters to the cable network, demanding film crews leave the house in Wernersville, Pa.

TLC has fought back, issuing a statement slamming Jon Gosselin.

"We are aware of Jon Gosselin's recent statements, and remain deeply disappointed at his continued erratic behavior. He and the family were shooting as recently as last Friday, without incident, and his latest comments are grossly inaccurate, without merit and are clearly opportunistic.

"Despite Jon Gosselin's repeated self destructive and unprofessional actions, he remains under an exclusive contract with TLC. Direct filming of the children has been currently suspended, pending further conversations between both parents."

Heller told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday that the original agreement between TLC and the Gosselin family "may very well be 'null and void' and unenforceable."

Heller also claims TLC never got special permits required by Pennsylvania's Child Labor Law as a requirement for the Gosselin's eight kids' involvement in the TV show.

One day before Jon Gosselin was dumped by TLC from the reality show. "Jon & Kate" drew just 1.3 million viewers, compared with 1.7 million for the previous week.

Ratings for the show have now fallen 88 percent since June, down from a season high of 10.6 million.

The TLC network said Tuesday that the reality show was "adapting to changes" in the Gosselin household, which for months has been disrupted by the split up of Jon and Kate.

The renamed "Kate Plus Eight" begins Nov. 2. It will continue to focus on the Gosselin kids but with more focus on Kate Gosselin's role as a single mother.

Is he seriously claiming to be a victim here? OMG.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the ratings are dropping because everyone is SICK TO DEATH of seeing their faces, and hearing about them everywhere we go! Jon just may get his wish to stop the show simply because no one watches anymore, and that’s fine by me.

If Jon is still under contract with TLC, then one would assume he’s still receiving a paycheck; Right? If that is true, then he needs to not concern himself so much with his name being dropped from the show title and changed to “Kate Plus Eight”. Instead, Jon should remember this mantra “call me what you want, just keep sending the paycheck!”

It’s funny how every one forgets that Jon quit his job to play the mommy rule while Kate was at the hair salon, the Spa, and hanging with her girlfriend Beth while Jon had the children. It was going to come to a head when he finally realized he was missing out on life, while Kate was still living her’s + anytime Kate was alone with the children she always had the neighbors helping her—who did Jon have???????????? Jon I wish you the best………………………….

Kate, If you do read this, hold your head up high. It appears to me that Jon is seeing that you took the high road and he didnt so he’s doing all he can to tear you down. Dont let that happen!

You know Kate reminds me of my sister in law, and Im glad Jon got out of there, Kate needs help she is a selish women who only thinks of her self and what she will gain in the end..

IMO = in my opinion October 5, 2009, 10:59 AM

(IMO)I Can’t believe Kate would have allowed TLC to cut Jon from the show. What kind of mother does that to her kids father? Then what? Jon can’t even afford to buy his kids a happy meal? If Kate was really “all about the kids”, then she would have said “NO” to TLC’s idea to cut him from the show.(IMO) Seems Kate just wants all the money for herself.(IMO) Seems Kate can’t share at all. Besides (IMO)what is she worried about? She has a new show in the works with Paula D. So she will have another cash cow to mooch off of. Kate had no need with two shows to have Jon cut from the show.(IMO) Kate knows exactly what she is doing!(IMO) She has had this all planned!

Nice blog at www.momlogic.com. I just read that Pennsylvania State labor officials investigated the production reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8 for possible violations of child labor laws. Relatives of Kate Gosselin are expected to testify at a Pennsylvania legislative hearing on child labor laws. Unbelievable!!!
