Parents Peeved about Pornographic T-Shirt

Should this be sold in high school?

A controversial T-shirt was made for a football game between two rivals (Memorial High Mustangs vs. Stratford Spartans in Texas) and sold for $20. Many say the sexually-explicit cartoon it features is beyond offensive.

pornographic high school shirt

Although the shirts were not approved by school administration, some parents are still peeved that school officials didn't do more to stop the sale of these shirts. What do you think ... harmless high school hijinks or just plain pornographic?

Yup, Wow! I think I am speechless.

The Cool Mom October 7, 2009, 11:48 AM

Tacky tacky tacky!!! Who made this shirt, and who approved it’s sales?

chris October 7, 2009, 11:49 AM

OMG! I would be very upset if this t-shirt was sold in my kid school. Shame on this school for letting that happen!

Jen October 7, 2009, 11:54 AM

WOW!!! What school official in their right mind would approve this??? I would be one pissed off parent!! This is pornographic and just trashy!!

james October 7, 2009, 11:59 AM

Wow, that is hilarious!!

i dont even know where these schools are but i want one of those shirts. hillarious!!!!

This would be appropriate for adults to wear in relation to major sports teams, but I think giving this to teenagers is a bit irresponsible.

This article is VERY misleading. The arthur should have pointed out that the school did not “approve, condone or sanction” this T-Shirt. My guess is some high school brat made these in his parent’s basement. Reporting all the facts is a good way to go sometimes.

Porn? Maybe. Offensive? YES! “Hilarious”?! NO!!! I disagree that it would be appropriate for adults either. Really it is degrading to women and um, sick. I do agree that it was probably made unofficially, not by the school, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t condoned.

ojiggity October 7, 2009, 12:29 PM

This is one of the funniest designs I have seen. Who doesn’t like a little 3-way? Moms lighten up! You know it’s comical and sends the right message: “F up the competition.” So relax, it’s one of the funniest shirts produced for a high school team and I believe it should be mass-produced.

dillon October 7, 2009, 12:40 PM

Porn? Maybe. Offensive? not really “Hilarious”?! YESSS!!! I agree that it would be appropriate for adults too. Really it is degrading to horses and um, sick-nasty awesome. I do agree that it was probably made unofficially, not by the school, but that doesn’t mean its less awesome

Way to objectify women and let young girls know all they are good for is sex. This was a PUBLIC SCHOOL? NIIICE!

Can anyone say sexual harassment laws and zero tolerance? They suspend kids for bringing a Tylenol to school but this t-shirt is OK? AND they made money off of it?

Does anyone else see this as a much bigger problem?

Disgusted  October 7, 2009, 12:57 PM

Wow.. I can’t believe that people think beastility is funny!! That’s disgusting!! To Ojiggity, Poking fun at rivals team is part of sports but sending the message to “F up the competition” is not appropriate. Athletes need to be good sportsman before, during, and after a game.

wendi October 7, 2009, 1:01 PM

I can’t believe this shirt, I would be so mad if my kids came home with this. Totally unacceptable.

chris October 7, 2009, 1:03 PM

I seem to notice a pattern with the men comments on this…Am I the only “mom” out here who thinks that these men should find thier own “dadlogic” site and stay off of ours?

Lollomgg October 7, 2009, 1:15 PM

Hahaha. I admit it’s inappropriate for a school function. However, props to the students that came up with it. It’s funny. Anyone who thinks it’s sick or disgusting has a sick and disgusting mind. Lighten up.

Maybe appropriate for college or pro teams…I always found them a bit distasteful even then, but at that point, one’s to assume they’ll be purchased and worn by legal adults. Not by kids still living with Mom and Dad. I had a Motley Crue shirt with the F-word on on it when I was 14 and I wasn’t allowed to leave the house in it. I can’t imagine any parent approving of THIS. The Motley Crue shirt is positively tame in comparison!

roy October 7, 2009, 2:14 PM

shirt is pure prone shame on them

“Disgusting”!
