Celeb mom reads children's classic to kids.

Mom and actress Elisabeth Rohm took time out to read Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar at Gymboree Play and Music in Los Angeles on Thursday for Jumpstart's Read for the Record.

Jumpstart's Read for the Record highlights the importance of early literacy to raise awareness about the importance of reading with young children to ensure they learn crucial early language and literacy skills to succeed in school and in life.

The annual campaign makes history as children read the same book on the same day across the country. The goal is to reach one million children.

We just love The Very Hungry Caterpillar ... and the thought of a million kids reading it makes us smile.
