Toys "R" Us has already deemed Zhu Zhu Pets "the" hot toy for the holiday season. These plush, interactive hamsters (that require no cleanup -- yay!) are already pretty much impossible to find ... they're currently sold out online at both Walmart and Toys "R" Us online.
You can even track when Zhu Zhu Pets come back in stock with this online tracker and e-mail alert system.
The good news? At $10, they won't break the bank if you can find a store where they're available. But the eBay prices are already climbing -- most are going for $20 and up, and prices are sure to skyrocket as the holidays get closer. (84 days, for those of you who are counting!)

I went to Amazon.com and bought my daughter’s last night after reading this. Joy of joys, the brown one went up in price from $10.99 to $27.99 since I checked them out last week. Hey, at least she’s getting one. :-P
My 8 year old daughter has been telling me for the past two months that she really wants a “Zoom Zoom Pet”. I didn’t know what the hell she was talking about until I just read this, apparently I miss understood her. I’ve been telling her for two years that she cannot have a Hampster or Guinea Pig, so no wonder she wants this thing so bad. Hopefully, I can find them for Christmas.
my daughter ablsolutely loves them! She plays with it constantly. She is 4 and takes the pets everywhere she goes…just really, really cute!
I bought my sons Zhu Zhu pets online. It was easier for me and I got a discounted price.
My kids have Zhu Zhu pets, now I am on the hunt for accessories!

I have been looking for these for the past two months. I’m even on Toys R Us e-mail list to notify me when they come in. I wish I would have found them before now because I guess everyone wants them now.
