Adults Get 9 Years In Teen's Death

Investigators said the driver -- 16-year-old Lance Davis -- lost control of a pickup truck and slid sideways about 40 yards before flipping and hitting a telephone pole.
"My daughter wasn't drinking that night, but they let a boy leave with three 15-year-old girls," said Shari Mounce.
Davis spent several weeks in boot camp and is now on probation for his role in Mounce's death. The Kyles might only serve only three years in prison because of the type of sentencing they received.
"I'd go to jail for 50 years if my daughter could be alive. When they get out, they get to see their kids, and I'll never see mine again. Never," Mounce said.
Mounce noted that the Kyle's children began yelling at her in court.
"Basically, they said they wished I died a slow, painful death," Mounce said.
The judge had tough words for the Kyles, Mounce said.
"The judge looked at them and asked, 'What type of people do this?'" Mounce said.

I agree with you Ashley…they don’t look like responsible smart people. I wouldn’t let them anywhere near my child.
Actually, the kids did not know the parents. The boys took the girls to their 15 year old son’s birthday party. Neither the 16 year old driver parents, nor any of the parents knew these people. My daughter spent the night with a friend and they talked her into going. She paid the ultimate price with her life. May these meth heads rot in hell.
I am thrilled the state took this case on and the two morons are in jail.
I selfishly feel sad and anger because my daughter died the exact same way and the state of SC- did absolutely nothing to the adults nor the one underage drunk driver who lived. no one was even charged! why cant our family get ‘justice’?!!!!! i’ve been left to be a bitter woman because my own state couldnt have cared less about the deaths of 3 teens… one of them being my daughter.

Well, since the are only about and hour or so from where I live and since I know alot about this state’s problems, to me they look like meth monsters. Trust me, Oklahoma has plenty of them, this is still a great state though!! And those two fit the description!!
