Feedback: Giving Thanks -- Paula Deen Style!
We asked our readers to share their fave Thanksgiving dishes with us in exchange for the chance to win a copy of Paula's latest cookbook, and y'all had some mouth-watering sides you couldn't live without:
My favorite recipe is my grandfather's snowball cookies. He made them every year, and now I make them for my dad. -- Jessica
My favorite Thanksgiving recipe is sweet potato casserole. I love it! I'm not sure why we never make it outside of Thanksgiving (probably all the butter, sugar, and marshmallows). -- Cait
I LOVE corn casserole -- I make it every Thanksgiving (and many other times throughout the year)!! YUM!! -- Sara Phillips
I LOVE Paula's pumpkin gooey butter cake. It is always a huge hit at my Thanksgiving dinner. -- Tammy
I love homemade mashed potatoes!! They are so easy to make, but so good!! They are made with lots of sour cream and butter. -- Summer
I love, love, love stuffing. I could just eat a plate of that, especially with extra onions. -- Andrea Bilec
I actually prefer my mom's seafood gumbo to any traditional Thanksgiving recipes, but a close second would be my recently deceased sister's cornbread dressing ... I unfortunately do not have the recipe, as she never wrote anything down. This will be my first holiday without her. -- Dede
I can't pick just one favorite. Are you kidding? I LOVE my mom's giblet gravy, my mother-in-law's cranberry salad, and my own sweet potato casserole. I can't have Thanksgiving without any of them. :0) -- Michelle M
I stay in touch with Momlogic via Facebook, and I just registered for the newsletter. The recipe I can't live without for Thanksgiving is my grandma's Sweet Potato Pie -- it consists of sugar and spice and everything nice. -- Tiffany Jackson
The one recipe I can't live without on Thanksgiving is my Grandma's homemade pear pie. It has pears and raisins and cloves and cinnamon and nutmeg, and is delicious with vanilla ice cream on top. -- Tracy Hill
My favorite Thanksgiving recipe is Sage and White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes! -- Mary Ellen
My mother's dumplings. Oh my. -- Peggy
Oyster stuffing is my favorite, with green bean casserole coming in a close second! -- Diane Burke
