Would you do the same?

woman giving birth

Momlogic's Julie: Lynsee, a 23-year-old teacher in Minneapolis, is expecting her first child on November 19 ... and she is broadcasting the birth live on the Internet.

"We wanted to document the pregnancy and create a one-of-a-kind memento for our baby to have forever," Lynsee says.

The live feed will be available on the Twin Cities Moms Like Me website.

When I had my first child, it was only my husband and medical staff in the room -- and I didn't have my husband take a video of the birth because I didn't want him to be behind a camera when our baby was born.

When I had my second child, I had three of my best friends in the delivery room along with my hubby, and one of them videotaped the birth for me.

I am not sure how I would feel about the whole world seeing the birth of my baby.

Who was in the room when you had your baby? Would you have broadcast the birth live on the Internet?

Maybe it’s just me but having my whoha hanging out for the world to see is not my idea of a memorable experience. However, I’m a pretty modest person and never really have that the actual birthing experience was all that beautiful. I only ever had my husband in the delivery room with me both out of preference and out of necessity since both of my children needed to be c-sections. I hope this young lady gets the experience that she hopes for and isn’t sharing more of herself than she was really expecting.

Some people will do anything to get their 15 minutes of fame.

When my first was born I had a vaginal birth and my husband, sister in-law and mother in law were in the room with my second I had to have a c-section and the hospital would only allow my husband in the room but in both my births a nurse was happy to video tape for me. She didn’t mention if this was a home birth or not, I can’t see a public hospital allowing this. Anyways, Whatever makes her happy it’s her birth.

This should be banned! If you want to do an educational video for your OB’s office then fine but no way in the world should the whole world be subjected to your yaya! Another attention seeker!
