So THAT'S the reason!
In an affidavit filed as part of his lawsuit with TLC, Jon states: "Now, I find myself unemployed and without the ability to secure non-entertainment-related engagements because the enormous media interest, cameras, reporters and public interest makes it impossible to carry on normal daily activities, let alone find, secure and maintain a job with an employer who is willing to be exposed to the daily media intrusions that has impeded my life."
Jon Gosselin filed a $5 million claim against the network, saying its representatives damaged his reputation and career by preventing him from working with other media outlets.

He’s lazy!
He could get a normal job like the rest of us—the media would get bored really fast watching him work for a construction company or something and leave him alone. He is a lazy peice of work and has no intention of ever getting a normal job. I wonder how often he wishes he could go back and not stop the tlc show just because they took him off? He kind of killed the goose that laid the golden egg there…
He needs to just go away! Nobody cares about him! He dug his own hole and now he needs to deal with it! Please Jon…GO AWAY!

What happened to Ed Hardy! Probably realized like everyone else, that you are hindrance not a help.
I wouldn’t hire him with all that baggage. Would you? Cameras, reporters, and the insurance on all those kids alone would kill my company rates.
