Wall Street Gets Swine Flu Vaccine Before Kids

This is outrageous!

Momlogic's Julie: When I heard that the major banks and Wall Street firms were given a private allocation of the swine flu vaccine when many kids (including mine) cannot get it, I was outraged!

How are bankers, brokers, and traders put before high-risk children who actually need the vaccine most?

My pediatrician is out of the swine flu vaccine and said he can't get it for weeks. That means my kids are currently unvaccinated. During 2009, at least 114 children have been killed by the swine flu. How many stockbrokers have died of swine flu this year? Not 114, I can assure you!

Why were they given priority?

It makes me sick that the very people who got us into this financial mess we're in now, the people we have BAILED OUT time and time again, are again getting preferential treatment.

The rich get richer ... and the rich get healthier, too.

I’m just disturbed. Frankly this pisses me off. My daughter is high risk and I can’t even get it for her. I got it luckily but it was an adult vaccine and not for children. It just pisses me off.

Oh, not just you. I’m a Firefighter/EMT (ie: VERY high risk group) and we have been unable to secure any vaccinations. Our local hospitals have been out, and there have been long lines at the public health clinics. But Goldman Sachs and Citi have been able to get hundreds. W. T. F.

The ones who are responsible for allowing Wall Street, the banks (you know the ones we use every day) receive the vaccine for Swine Flu before all doctors office, especially pediatrians should be arrested. How can they get by with this? It sickens me. I wish there was a way one person could make a difference. I would pull my money out of my bank so fast it would make your head spin. What goes around, comes around! -I’m one OUTRAGED person!
