The show is as addictive as it is entertaining for both parents and children, and has become a cult favorite for many. People that don't even have kids watch the show. Secretly, of course.

Yo Gabba Gabba

Muno! He's tall and friendly!

Foofa! She's pink and happy!

Brobee! The little green one!

Toodee! She likes to have fun!

Plex! A magic robot!

Let's all come and play with DJ Lance Rock today!

If you're a fan of the show, we know you just sang along with the lyrics and finished it off with a roaring coarse of:

Yo Gabba Gabba! Yo Gabba Gabba! Yo Gabba Gabba! Yoooooooooo!

Momlogic sat down with co-creator Christian Jacobs, to talk about how things are faring in Yo Gabba Land on the heels of the Yo Gabba LIVE Tour ("There's a Party In My City"), and the release of their first CD, "Music Is Awesome!"

Momlogic: Where did the idea for "Yo Gabba Gabba" come from? Someone has an amazing imagination!

Christian Jacobs: We were just watching other children's programs with our own children and thought it was time for our generation to step up and make something for the kids. We have had a bunch of these crazy ideas for years, but it was really our families that helped us harness our energies and create this show!

ML: Obviously this show appeals to parents as much as it does to kids. What is the key to entertaining both audiences?

CJ: Well, we have to really think about the children first. I think the execution of the show appeals to adults because it's very pop. It's very homage-y (is that a word?) to all of the stuff we watched as kids, so that helps. But ultimately I think we are making a show we want to watch with our kids so we (as adults) aren't out of the equation completely.

ML: Who is your favorite "Yo Gabba Gabba" character, and why?

CJ: I really like Muno. He is a cyclops, I am a cyclops. He is kinda awkward, I am kind of awkward. I also like Plex more and more because he tries really hard to do a lot and is pretty thankless. He is kind of taken for granted, and that's kind of funny. He does all this crazy magic and it's like no big deal!

ML: This season boasts some really cool guest stars (The Roots, Andy Samberg, MGMT, Jack Black, etc.). How do you get these guys to join in the fun?

CJ: Wow! I don't know!? I think they get it. I know with The Roots and Jack Black, they have kids and they love to watch the show with their kids. Amir (from The Roots) told me that this show reminds him of a lot of shows we all watched when we were kids. We're all pop culture junkies!!

ML: Who would be your dream "Yo Gabba Gabba" guest?

CJ: We just had DEVO on the show, so I can retire, but I would love to have the Pixies on the show!! Bad Brains would be pretty cool! But of course, Bill Murray!! He rules!

ML: The music on the show is awesome, especially for us moms who REALLY love music. You even had Mates of State on one time. Who on the team LOVES music?

CJ: WE ALL LOVE music! I mean that is the common denominator at the office and on set. We all are really big music fans. We met DJ Lance Rock at a music store where he worked. Everyone (it seems) writes music for the show.

Oh good grief this stuff is just crap. Just turn your tv off and let your kid use his imagination. We have been tv free for 4yrs now, best thing we EVER did.

Sorry, but this show is seriously annoying…. We (adults in my circle) joke that whoever created this show was on crack at the time. We also joke that the tall orange one looks like some type of pleasure toy for woman.

Is there a goul why should I consider this? In my opinion, it doesn’t make sense and I’m rattling frustrated .
