KTLA: A Christmas Day robbery at a store in Paramount was a family affair according to police. Shocking surveillance video taken by the store's security cameras shows a mother and father using their children to pull off the theft.

Police are now trying to track down the family and other possible accomplices.

The store's surveillance footage shows two young boys wander behind the store's counter and pull money from the cash register. The mother's voice can then be heard telling them to hide the money, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. Dennis Clark.

Clark said the group worked together so quickly and efficiently that authorities believe they are professionals.

At one point, the video shows one of the boys holding a clothing item. He talks to his mother and then heads over to the front door, but doesn't leave. The boy appears instead to be testing a security sensor.

Another male adult suspect shows up in the video, entering the store after the kids leave to retrieve a purse the mother left behind.

The store owner told deputies the mother appeared to be Eastern European.

The parents face felony charges, as well as child endangerment charges, according to Clark.

Anyone with information on the case was asked to call the Lakewood L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. at (562) 623-3500.
