She was sick of her kids fighting. So Madlyn Primoff kicked her battling 10- and 12-year-old daughters out of her car in White Plains, New York (three miles from home), and then drove off. She was later arrested.

Kathleen Butts picked up her 2- and 4-year-old from daycare while she was drunk. A maintenance worker found her an hour and a half later passed out in a snowbank. Her car was not running, but the door was left open with her two kids inside.
