America isn't the only country that produces far-out children's TV programs -- "Yo Gabba Gabba" and anything by Sid and Marty Krofft, to name a few. Check out these programs from around the globe that match the U.S. of A. for bizarre kiddie shows.
10 Kids' TV Shows from Around the World
GERMANY: Kinderkreis
On "Kinderkreis," kids are asked how the sponsored Fruit Gushers snacks make them feel -- then adults decked out in spandex do an interpretive dance to their description. Makes "Yo Gabba Gabba" look like "Mister Rogers'."
ENGLAND: Mr. Noseybonk
The winner of the creepiest children's character award: England's Mr. Noseybonk from the BBC series that aired in the early 80s. He is reportedly still considered a "figure of terror" for the kids who grew up watching him.
While kids in America were drinking chocolate Bosco, a show of the same name was a hit in Ireland. The program, which aired in the late 70s and early 80s, focused on the antics of Bosco, a red-headed, rosy-cheeked puppet -- years before Carrot Top rose to fame.
Featuring the world's sexiest children's television host. "Xou da Xuxa," starring Xuxa, premiered in 1986 and became the most famous children's program in Latin America. Beloved by millions of children and no doubt a few dads.
When you think kids' shows, cockroaches don't usually come to mind ... that is, unless they're singing. The French program "Souir Noir" (Black Mouse) features a cockroach that can really belt out a tune.
There's nothing like puppets and humans interacting. Especially when they're two groovy Scandinavian dudes from the 70s. Check out their low, low budget visual aids.
Bjork isn't the only Icelandic export -- they also brought us the freaky "Meistari Dulargervanna," or "Lazy Town," which made its debut in the U.S. in 2004.
hmm… those people are definitelly no native speakers. I searched a while and found claims that it’s an Argentinian ad-show. But actually, I think it’s just fake. The names of the people are just too strange… Currywurst, Frauenversteher, Warmduscher - if you use these words on a person, it’s clearly an insult.

Sorry Folks, but “Kinderkreis” is definitely not a German production. It´s a commercial produced in Argentinia to promote an American Product (http://www.generalmills.com/corporate/brands/brand.aspx?catID=11309&groupID=19418).
Still, it´s hilarious and made me wonder what kind of stuff they actually put in these “Fruit Gushers”. Where can you buy this stuff???? LOL
