Balloon Boy's Dad: 'He Was in the Craft'

Richard Heene claims he pleaded guilty to protect his wife.
In an interview that airs Friday on CNN's "Larry King Live," Richard Heene claims that he truly believed his son Falcon was trapped in his homemade flying saucer -- and not hiding in the attic of his Colorado home back in October 2009.
Heene, who once appeared on ABC's "Wife Swap," claims the only reason he took the plea bargain and pleaded guilty was to protect his wife, Mayumi, a Japanese citizen, from being deported.

I don’t buy it. I actually saw wife swap & thought he was a crazy psycho & possibly abusive. This guy is mental. This was just cruel. Even if they thought he was in there at first, I bet they realized shortly after he wasn’t but by then it was all over the media & didn’t want to say anything for fear of lookin like idiots. Hmm… How do u think u look now? These people could care less bout others. I think they r very unfeeling & uncompassionate people. It’s a shame.
