Her statements are infuriating to some moms.

Even though she stars in the upcoming movie "The Back-Up Plan" about a woman who conceives twins using artificial insemination, Jennifer Lopez is making some controversial statements about IVF these days.

When asked if she tried in-vitro fertilization to conceive her twins, Max and Emme, she told Elle magazine:

"I ... believe in God and I have a lot of faith in that, so I just felt like you don't mess with things like that. And I guess deep down I really felt like either this is not going to happen for me or it is. You know what I mean? And if it is, it will. And if it's not, it's not going to."

Yikes.

Not all moms are happy about her statements ... especially those who've had IVF themselves.

What do you think about J Lo's sentiments ... agree or disagree?

I think people who say or imply that IVF is somehow messing with God are ignorant. Science just helps the process along, but the embryo is just released into the womb and still has to implant and grow into a fetus by itself … and that process is still a mystery to doctors on how that happens - perhaps that is God’s miracle. If IVF were purely science then it would result in a 100% success rate, but that’s not the case… the pregnancy rate for IVF is not much higher than a ‘natural’ pregnancy. My personal opinion… I can’t stand her ….pompous, self righteous, lying, husband stealing, home wrecking egomaniac who is full of herself.

Ya, she’s such a good Catholic that she’s divorced three times and wrecked a family. Sure, she’s such a great role model for purity and morals…. NOT!

And isn’t she messing with God’s work with all that plastic surgery she’s had - isn’t that against the plan that he had for her? I’m not against anyone having plastic surgery, but don’t then turn around and bash it, cuz that’s when people call you HYPOCRITE!

she has a right to her own opinion but I don’t agree. If God let science make IVF and cause it to happen - I think that he is ok with it. Some of us can’t have kids because of a medical problems. You can adopt - should you not adopt because God won’t let you have kids the natural way? It doesn’t make sense. I definetly disagree - but to each their own.
