KTLA: A man has been arrested after his two baby daughters were found gagged, bound, and injured inside a residence.

At around 1:12 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to a family disturbance call in a home in the 7300 block of Rockridge Road, according to Sgt. Steve Brown of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

When deputies check a bedroom in the house, they discovered the two infant girls, ages 1½ years and 4½ months, lying on the floor, bound and gagged.

Both baby girls had visible injuries to their faces and heads, according to Brown.

The babies' natural father, 23 year old Jeremiah Scott, fled the scene as soon as deputies arrived.

Scott was soon found in the neighborhood and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, torture, and corporal injury to a child, Brown said.

Deputies reported the infants' injuries didn't appear life threatening, and they were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Scott is being held on $1 million bail.
