If Women Wrote Men's Magazines

The men had their say. Now it's our turn.

momlogic's Momstrosity: When some guys got together and hypothesized what would happen if men wrote women's magazines, I saw only one potential problem with their experiment: If men took over women's magazines, who would write men's magazines? That's easy: Me.

Here's my proposal for a revamped Maxim:

Sounds like the person that wrote this was either joking or bitter. If it was just a stereotype than it was pretty good, but if any of that was intended to be taken seriously I would say that this author has not had the best of luck with men.

OH MY HOW HILARIOUS.

I cannot even begin to describe how humorous and original this is. Bravo.

What is the emoticon for extreme sarcasm? Someone insert that here.

Well, looks about right. A woman’s design, huh Repetitive color, poor text layout with no regard for negative space, boring font, overly wordy and… Bitchy. Really bitchy. Yeah, I could see a woman making this

Wow. The boys can dish it out but they can’t take it. did u see the post this one is responding to? sheesh men are such babies.

I actually don’t think it’s funny, it preys on the stereotypes that men have about women.

I hope this was meant as a joke.

If that was real, the only part I would be offended by was the birth control part. Condoms>everything else.

Interesting. I’m waiting to see what more men say about this; so far it looks like a few of them take issue with it…. So guys, THIS author is “bitter” and “bitchy”, yet it’s “all in good humor” when the parody involves men writing women’s magazines? Please.

Janelle February 25, 2010, 8:38 AM

I saw this and thought it was HYSTERICAL because IT’S TRUE! haha…Great idea :)

Sam February 26, 2010, 2:22 PM

ME February 27, 2010, 2:15 PM

ok so I went to the original post this responds to and I have to say I could see women buying that. It doesn’t sound that far off from what they already write in it. All they changed was the titles of the articles were a bit more forward and probably filled with info that would work. As for the response it sound like just that. Written out of spite and anger. It is completely opposite of how maxim writes not to mention not funny. O and also I am a girl so its not out of offense that I wrote this review.
