No, we're not making this up.
One fifth of moms in the UK have admitted to being late picking up their kids from school because they were having an affair, reports The Sun.
2,000 moms were surveyed by the website WinMonkey.co.uk, which found almost a third of moms had been late as they were drinking with friends.
WinMonkey.co.uk spokesman Sam Notaro said: "Traffic is a factor that no one can control and school [pick-up] time is notoriously busy. But the fact that 19 percent of mums were late because they were having an affair is shocking."
Shocking, indeed!

Um, “El Chauvinisto,” chances are, if a woman is late to pickup her child because she’s drinking with friends or having an affair (terrible), she’s already “in the kitchen,” in a manner of speaking, meaning, she’s probably not working outside of the home.

OMG- That’s just crazy! Once I lost track of time bleaching out the fridge while the kids were at school. When I did look at the clock, I hurried over there. I felt so bad, I wanted to tell the teachers to smell the bleach on my hands!
Everyday I read stories like this. It’s no wonder our society is going down the shitter.
