A Canadian dance routine is getting a lot of attention today ... but this has nothing to do with the Olympics!

Two Canadian teachers, one of whom was identified by students as phys-ed instructor Chrystie Fitchner, have been sent home without pay after doing a lap dance in front of 100 students as young as 13 years old during a school assembly. Gulp!

According to The Globe and Mail, the teacher dance-off at the Gym Riot spirit assembly took place last Wednesday for grade 9 to 12 students at the Winnipeg high school.

Kids thought it was funny at first -- but when the teachers began simulating oral sex, most thought this had gone much too far.

Check out the risque dance routine:

Do you think the teachers should be fired ... or are school officials overreacting?

UPDATE: A pair of Canadian high school teachers whose enthusiasm at a pep rally morphed into a mock lap dance that became an Internet sensation are now out of jobs.

Yes, they should be fired!

If they’re crazy enough to do that in public, what would they do in their classroom?

fire them!!! I’m so tired of hearing “what the hell is wrong with kids these days?” when you look at who’s teaching them.

Winnipeg is full of winners, I think it’s up to the community to decide.

That’s disgusting. They should be fired if they don’t have the common sense to dance like that in front of students.

They should have known better. Yes, fire them. But don’t blame just them for the way kids are today.

Television promotes sex daily 24/7 and it is hard to control what kids watch when even the commercials are so racy.

Rated R movies should not let young kids in to watch, even if they are with an adult.

Music is horrible these days. The lyrics are nothing but sexual and crude. Take that from them. Who allows them to listen to that? Parents.
