Koco.Com: A baby died during a botched robbery in eastern Oklahoma, and it was the robbers who brought the baby along, according to Sequoyah County authorities.

Sheriff Ron Lockhart said Michael Clemente and his 17-year-old roommate went to 20-year-old Devin Jeremiah's home. They allegedly beat him and stole drugs and money, and then left in a car.

Investigators said that's when Jeremiah ran after the teens, shooting at the car. The 17-year-old's aunt, Heather Jones, was driving the getaway car, the sheriff said. Her 1-year-old daughter, Elaine Keene, was in the car.

A bullet hit the baby in the head, the sheriff said. She died two days later.

Jones said she blames Jeremiah and the two teens for her daughter's death.

"I love my nephew to death, but I do despise him right now," she said during a television interview. "And Mike, I have nothing to say to him because if he would have never hit him, if he would have never went on to start any trouble, this would never have happened."

After the interview aired, the sheriff arrested Jones on suspicion of child endangerment. He said she knew the teens were going to commit the robbery when she drove them to the house.

Really? She blames everyone else but herself. She shouln’t even drove her nephew with her daughter to rob someone! She shouldn5 even bring her daughter along. What kind of example is she if she was to allow her nephew commit a crime
