We're all in favor of Bring Your Child to Work Day -- but does this cross the line?
Audio has been released of a child directing air traffic at JFK, one of the nation's busiest airports.
The kid's father -- a controller -- and his supervisor in the tower have been relieved of duty while the Federal Aviation Administration investigates the Feb. 17 incident in which the child cleared air traffic at the busy airport, reports AJC.
"Pending the outcome of our investigation, the employees involved in this incident are not controlling traffic," the FAA said in a statement. "This behavior is not acceptable and does not demonstrate the kind of professionalism expected from all FAA employees."
At one point in the recording, a man is heard saying, "That's what you get, guys, when the kids are out of school!"

It seems obvious that Dad was telling the kid what to say, and that the kid was just repeating it. But does this go too far ... or is it just much ado about nothing?

I think its wonderful. the father helped this kids confidence. the father obviously had high confidence that his kid could do it, and its displayed here, and the kid for sure wasn’t left alone to call the shots. so if there was a problem the team was there to take over, i don’t see why its such a bad idea. GOOD JOB KID!!! and bravo to the father, need more fathers like you in this world.
Its not like there’s any danger, the father/employee is obviously there and in control. Its not like the kid is just foolin around or that there was anything that immediate going on. Dont let the media hype on this fool you.

Since they cant take all our money through taxes they need alternative methods.
I also do not see this as a big deal. My father worked in a men’s clothing store, I used to love to go in and play with the clothing racks. I’m 28 and I remember those days like they were yesterday, imagine the wonderful memories this kid will carry the rest of his life. Goodness knows what kind of confidence it’ll build, and what he’ll do once he figures out how to harness those experiences. Like everyone else said, the pros were all
