You gotta love those Huskies.
My dog Kiskie (who’s half husky as well) did this for my son when he was a baby!! Now that my son is three, when he throws tantrums, Kiskie still howls for him; then again my son can make him howl when he’s bored or just feels like howling…he calls it singing though. :)

YES, a dog howling is proven to be (at least psychologically) “better” than a baby crying. The sound of a crying human child is proven to be the most stressful sound sound on Earth for the human brain to hear…. for obvious biological reasons =3
husky howling is soothing to me. My 4 year old husky howls for me when im stressed or upset and she makes me smile. i can see how this would help an upset child.
The dog looks and sounds more like an Alaskan Malamute than a Husky we had 3 they are wonderful with children and howl at everything
I have a husky and hear that sound often, that is so sweet to see it sing to the baby…very touching.
