Justin Bieber's Manager Arrested after Fan Frenzy

The manager for teen heartthrob Justin Bieber turned himself in to police today following an incident last year at a Long Island mall which sent five fans to the hospital.
Prosecutors have charged Scott "Scooter" Braun with reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance stemming from an appearance by the 16-year-old teen pop crooner last November at the Roosevelt Field Mall.
Three thousand people had gathered to get a glimpse of the star, and then started to become unruly. At that point, local police canceled the event for safety reasons. When fans refused to leave, several began stampeding the area where Bieber was set to sign autographs. Five fans were taken to the hospital.
According to the local District Attorney, the police's efforts were hindered by a message sent to Bieber's Twitter page -- which has a massive following -- saying, "On my way to Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY to sign and meet fans! I'm pumped. See u there." Police say they asked an executive with Bieber's record label to call Braun and have him send out a tweet that the event had been canceled -- which did not happen.
The executive was arrested at the event and was charged with a series of misdemeanors, including endangering the welfare of children and obstructing governmental administration. His case is pending.
Police say that when they were finally able to reach Braun, they were told he "was in a meeting in Manhattan without access to a computer" and that he could not send out the tweet. When told that he would be arrested, police say that Braun asked them to make sure they spelled his name right on the warrant.
When Braun finally sent two tweets -- nearly two hours later -- the crowd quickly dispersed.
If convicted, he faces up to a year in prison. His lawyer says he will plead not guilty.
So what does Justin think about this? Check out this video from TMZ.
