'Housewife' Nene Speaks Out on Son's Arrest

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Nene Leakes is speaking out on the arrest of her son, Bryson.
In a statement released to momlogic, Nene says, "Like any parent, I am disappointed with the actions and arrest of my son, Bryson. Certainly, my husband and I will deal with this family issue in a private manner. My son is not the first young adult to experiment with marijuana, and he certainly won't be the last. Still, as parents, this is a chance for us to have an open dialogue with him about the dangers of any substance abuse. I realize as a parent that my job is never done. And, as I've tweeted, tough love was in order. Still, I ask that you respect our privacy during this trying time."
On Twitter today, Nene said, "Morning! I know my parenting job is NEVER DONE but TOUGH LOVE is ordered by the JUDGE! The judge n this case is ME," and, "My head is up & held high this morning because I KNOW the parent that i'am! U hate 4 yo kids 2 make mistakes! TOUGH LOVE this morning."
As first reported by RadarOnline, Cops arrested Bryson after they say they found him with less than an ounce of marijuana. He was also picked up for a failure to appear warrant.

i just found your website & like i very much. i would like to see your opinion & outrage over the deaths of chelsea king & amber dubois. the girls were murdered in the north county area of san diego. there was an arrest in the case of chelsea king, and the incompetence of the justice system in keeping all the convicted sex offenders loked up, or tracking them better. like with an implanted lo-jack. i am very angry about this as is my community.
best regards,
