This morning, the "Today" show exposed the germs that lurk on kids' bath toys.
The bath toys they tested had high levels of fecal contamination, E. coli, staph and strep. The worst were toys with holes: Inside, they were caked with black chunks of bacteria. EW!

Their top tips (short of throwing the toys in the trash altogether):
• Air-dry toys away from any moisture
• Store them in a closed bin or closet
• Avoid toys with holes that can create a bacterial bonanza
• Disinfect bath toys with alcohol or peroxide after use

This is surprising why? They’re used in the BATHTUB. This is where you wash all the dirt and germs and stuff off your kids. Why WOULDN’T the toys have germs all over them?! Think about it.
