These girls are acting like rape is funny. This above all I cannot believe!!! How is rape not a big deal to these girls???

Where have all the morals of our society gone?? We are suppose to trust these people to run our country one day? I am young, 23-years-old and I NEVER acted like these girls. This makes me sick.

I’m gonna second Anna on this one. But one has to realize these girls and guys are the product of one of the worst media I’ve ever seen.

Alexis … you are partially right by saying that the kids are a product of the media. At this point, I have to say that we need to take responsibility for our kids and not point fingers elswhere. We do not live in a world we can trust anymore. Times have changed and we need to adjust to the changing times. Our kids are mostly a product of good or bad parenting. Life is tough but we must be tougher. It is not easy to raise kids … and they will do what they do … but if we can get them to think about us when they make their choices, hopefully they will make the right ones.

I agree, all of this is horrifying. But really, why are these kids’ parents letting them go on these trips? I’m 20 and have never (and will never) go on trips like these. The vast majority of my peers do though, and I find it appalling. It’s absurd. Obviously everyone gets to an age where parent’s can’t stop them from doing these things, but you should be able to raise your children to know how stupid all this behavior is.

The acid use was disturbing. I’ve had two friends develop schizophrenia from L.S.D. abuse. Believe me when your best friend is hiding under the bed and literally crying that the C.I.A. is listening in on them it breaks your heart. The after-effects are real, and so are the tears.

Don’t blame the media. Blame the parents. Blame the students. Blaming the media makes us all into hypnotized weaklings, like we’ll do anything the media tells us. Parents have got to stand up.

Wow…seriously, thats all i could think when watching this. Ya we were all young once…and everyone of my friends made choices during the drinking days…some with lots of regrets..and some with just the mentality that they just enjoyed and lived life at that time. Wow…but this generation…not sure if they even will have regrets…seems like anything goes…anything. Was scary hearing those girls laugh at the fact that 30 guys were all over them..that could have went really bad.

Scary… truly scary… and I saw the “Drs.” show these clips on their daytime program and they said that about 1600 college students die each year for excessive drinking or binge drinking. Our future isn’t too bright if our young adults are killing the only brain cells they have. My condolences to the Mother on the show who’s daughter secretly went on the Spring Break trip and never returned home. Till this day, no word. Our prayers go out to her family! :os

How we forget! I’m a 38 year old male and cant believe how old this story made me feel. I’ve done the spring break thing 6-7 times in S. Padre TX. when I was a kid (teen/young adult) The drugs, sex, drinking and whatever else you can think of were all part of it then just like it is now. The anger most adults today have is that they dont want their kids to act as stupid they did when they were kids. You’ve become just like your mom/dad. Hello!

kathleen schriber April 14, 2010, 7:43 AM

problem is, we adults never want to blame the kids for anything. its starts when they are 4 yrs old and steal something from the store and we don’t do anything but justify them. children need to be taught right from wrong from the very beginning and quit making excuses for them. it’s no wonder we have a large population of irresponsible young people. look at what they were/weren’t taught. (not speaking for everyone.) just those who act like they can do what they want and momma and daddy will ‘fix’ it!

Hey I’ve got an idea. Raise your kids right and they won’t do stupid stuff like this. 99.5 times out of 100, its the parents’ fault.

I’m 17 and was on my grad trip (canada march break) this year. we went to a resort in the dominican and yes there was drinking and sex but NOTHING, NOTHINGGGGG like this. I’d say overall it was pretty safe, especially cause it was in a secluded resort, everyone with the student agency (supervised for things getting out of control violence and criminal activity) was in their senior year.
