Steve and Jen Patterson traveled to the Netherlands to see Jen's sister for a week -- and are now stranded there away from their four kids (all under age 9) because of the volcanic ash.

We can't even imagine the kind of stress you'd feel being away from your kids indefinitely. We hope the Pattersons make it home safely soon!
