We tried the game on the new Nintendo DSi XL with an extra-large screen ... so the recipes were even easier to read. The chef's voice could be clearly heard through the speakers, and he talked the kids through each and every step.
The game allowed us to assign tasks to each child -- so we could specify that our daughter couldn't be around knives, for example. My husband minced the onion, and I turned on the stove. But with our supervision, the kids were allowed to flip the chicken breasts in the pan and mix the ingredients for the delicious homemade barbecue sauce.
This game was fun for the whole family, and the lunch was really delicious. The kids were so proud that they'd made lunch all by themselves.
