After just a week, the youngest -- and smallest -- member of the Duggar clan has had to return to the hospital after her vital signs dropped unexpectedly.
People reports that Duggar dad Jim Bob and mom Michelle had to rush little Josie back to the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock late last week. "Dr. Arrington told us to never trust a preemie," Jim Bob told the magazine -- referencing Josie's physician, Dr. Robert Arrington, who is co-director of the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit. "That is really true."
Jim Bob says that the fortifiers they have been adding to breast milk to increase Josie's calorie intake caused her to become constipated -- which led to her vital signs fluctuating.
"She's doing fine now," he says. "They will watch her for a few days to make sure she's safe."
Josie was born on Dec. 11 at 25 weeks -- and weighed just over one pound. The Duggars have 18 other children.
