My hope is that you see through these letters how much I love you as a group and, more important, as individuals. You each have unique qualities, characteristics and personalities that together complete our family. Never forget that inside my hard, strict outer shell is a heart bursting with love for each of you. As I always say, I didn't set out to have eight children but I ended up with the best eight kids on the planet, and I thank God daily for each one of you.
What about John? Could we call him an absentee father. Seems like we see more pictures of him hanging out at swanky hotels with women than we see with his children. John, instead of causing trouble why not be apart of the solution and take care of the children while Kate is working to make money. You have nothing else to do. If you feel like she’s gone to much then why not step in and be there when she can’t. Why do the kids need a nanny when they have a jobless father in the same state? I’m sorry but I have no respect for a man who leaves his wife and 8 kids for another woman. There is no way he can live that down in my book.
Monica, I really like you and I agree with you completely. Jobless John the Jerk has no right to be pointing fingers, he did leave his beautiful wife and children, he has no talent, he’s s-o-o ugly. I really like and admire Kate, she has 8 children to support and she is a hands on mom, clearly her children come first.
She does what other moms do every day, WORK,in todays economy (even with 2 parents living in the home) both Mom and Dad have to work to support the family.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE WILL SOME BODY PUT A SOCK (PREFERABLY DIRTY) IN JONS’ MOUTH.
Great site. A lot of useful information here. I’m sending it to some friends!
Hi there, I discovered this blog once, then lost it. Took me forever to come back and discover it. I wanted to view what comments you got. Great blog by the way.
Love the main page. Do you think it will always be this way?

A mother who had a career in the corporate world who traveled extensively or worked long hours wouldn’t be called an absentee mother. Her life, her sometimes cold personality and her public drama makes her a target. If given the chance i’d sign up for a reality show :)
