The Metro Church confirmed Tuesday morning that one of their members found the 11-year-old autistic girl. Nadia's family spokesperson also confirmed that the girl has been found alive and well.

She was taken from a swampy area in Winter Springs.

Police had exhausted every possible tip during an all-out search that began last Friday when Nadia disappeared from her Winter Springs neighborhood.

During the search, dive teams have been looking in six bodies of water near Nadia's home, but they said they're facing difficult conditions in water as deep as 15 feet. They said the water is very murky and sonar is being used to search for clues. Monday, a new tip from Nadia's sister suggested the young girl may be on an adventure because of the book about science and nature that she is reading. Investigators turned search efforts to wooded areas, but still have seen no sign of Nadia.

Over the past five days, authorities have kept hope that they were searching for an alive Nadia.

AWESOME NEWS! What troubles me is the police turned away all the volunteers that wanted to help. Thankfully this church group went on their own to organize and did indeed find her.
Power to the people who despite the dangerous conditions in our woods here in FL, they went out and…I’m crying with joy.

I’m glad they found her but suspicious because in the story I read elsewhere, a man claims he walked ‘right to her’ and found her. Maybe they need to check HIM out. What if he held her for several days and then pretended to ‘find’ her?

I doubt that would be the case “Just Saying’ the girl, who is still alive would talk and point him as the culprit. I have a feeling the sister was right about the adventure and didn’t want to tell at first.
