Bruce Beresford-Redman, an Emmy-nominated former producer of Survivor and Pimp My Ride, has been told to stay in Mexico while authorities continue to investigate the death of his wife, Monica, according to an AP report.

Her body was discovered outside the resort early Thursday after her husband had reported her missing earlier in the week.

The children - Camila, 5, and Alec, 3 - were vacationing with the couple. Late Thursday, the children arrived in Los Angeles, where Monica's sister Carla Burgos van Bastelaar picked up the pair.

An emergency hearing took place Friday, and according to court records, Bruce's parents' Juanita and David received guardianship until May 20. Monica's sister was granted reasonable visits with the children.
