Pisces'Sesame Street' Helps Kids Grieve
"Sesame Street" has a long history of tackling hard subjects that affect children in a warm and sensitive way. To continue that tradition, the Sesame Workshop presents "When Families Grieve" -- a primetime special airing on PBS April 14th at 8:00 PM ET/ PT.
This special, hosted by Katie Couric and the Sesame Street Muppets, shares real-life stories of families who have lost a parent, and its goal is to help kids gain coping skills to deal with that loss. The hope is that the show will make kids feel more comfortable talking about loss and healing.

I seen this as I was flipping channels and it caught my eye. It is wonderful! Even for adults! I missed some of it and I wish it would air on local channel during prime time and be advertised a while so everyone could see it. Some of us can’t receive ABC because of the digital thing and we are on a budget and can’t afford dish or cable television. PLEASE bring it back and share this locally, several ways and on prime time.
