App: Put Things Off
|What it does: So simple! You enter an item you need to do, and store it in either the "Inbox," "Today" or "Put Off" tray. When you've completed a task, you click the "done" button and it goes into the "Done" tray. Not ready to get to an item? Put it in the "Put Off" tray, or schedule it for later.|
Is it better to go old-school? No way. Chances are, if you're a list maker, you've got chicken-scratches of action items written all over your house: on napkins, on the backs of envelopes, on the cat. Having everything you need to do in one place at least gives you the illusion that you've got it all together. Better than nothing!
Worth it? Absolutely! Unlike other, more expensive productivity apps, there's no categorizing to do. When you enter a task, you put it in its appropriate box. The best part: You'll never have to put on your to-do list: "Organize my to-do list!" Big timesaver.
