Patricia Heaton on Raising Four Sons and Dealing with Cougars

Patricia Heaton, star of ABC's "The Middle," sat down with momlogic to
talk about living with her four sons ... and what she'd do if any of
them started dating a "cougar."
ML: What's it like to live with four boys?
Patricia Heaton: It's actually really great to be the only woman in the house! Boys are just so loving. They're still really huggy ... not my 16-year-old so much, but the 12-year-old, 13-year-old, and 15-year-old are really affectionate. They just still have a lot of boy energy ... There's constant motion and movement and sound coming from them just spontaneously. They're a little bit smelly!
ML: What if your son wanted to date a cougar?
PH: They're so not there yet ... I can't even go there! I'll be so happy if someone finds them attractive. [laughs] It sounds terrible! They're adorable, by the way. They're a real catch! But they're boys ... and guys are just guys. It's amazing actually that any guy can get somebody to marry them, isn't it?

I confess, I hope my son is able to get a woman reasonably close to his own age. I hope the same for my daughter.
