Props to Bristol Palin for giving it to teens straight. "I didn't know I'd become a statistic," she says in her new ad for the CandiesFoundation.org,which strives to educate and shape the way teens think about pregnancy and parenthood.
Palin was just 17 when she found out she was pregnant with her son Tripp -- which also happened to occur at the height of her mother's political campaign. Today, she's handling life as a single mom.
She poses with her son for the campaign, which also features ads starring celebs such as Hilary Duff, Jenny McCarthy, Ashlee Simpson, Usher and more.The Candies Foundation reaches millions of teens each year with high-profile media campaigns that encourage the delay of pregnancy.

I don’t know if it will help teenage girls to not get pregant but I’m glad she is out there saying that it’s harder than she expected. I know a lot of people like to give her a hard time but I think everyone know someone who got pregant before they were adults and/or before marriage. In our society where it is no longer looked down on girls/women to have children outside of marriage or even without the possibility of a man in the baby life, I don’t understand why so many women are so mean toward this one girl. If she could make one teenagers rethink the whole “I can’t wait to have a baby, it would be so much fun” then I support her effort.
I’m in my twenties with kids. It’s easier than I thought BUT it’s just selfish to have kids in your teens if you are planning to have kids that is. You need to experience life to pass down to your kids to raise them into the best adults with the right attention and time. Enjoy yourself before you have kids because once you have kids, it’s them first, you second!
