Kyron's dad, Kaine Horman, and his stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman -- as well as the boy's biological mother, Desiree Ann Davidson, and her husband, Tony Young -- all spoke publicly today for the first time to appeal for their son's safe return.

Tony Young read the following statement at 1 PM PST today, according to Oregon Live:

"Hello, I am Tony Young, and I am Kyron's stepfather. The family has asked me speak on their behalf today. Kyron, we miss you, we love you and we need you home right now. We're doing everything we can to work with law enforcement ... so you can get back to us as soon as possible.

"We want you to know how much we appreciate the outpouring of thoughts as we wait for you. Thank you, friends, family and staff at your school that show how much the impact of one little boy's smiling face can have on a community.

"Until you come home, this family is not complete. Please, Kyron, keep up the hope. We know you will be back with us soon."

Kyron's father also spoke out. Watch the full statement here:

After five days Kyron father mother stepmother are speaking publicly. Most parents of missing child speak publicly after the hours the child goes missing.

Something is amiss. There’s more to this story than is being released. I’m willing to bet that the authorities are keenly aware of the movements & motives of this “family”.

I’m sorry but something is NOT right. The mother & step-father, obviously shaken and tearful. Father & step-mother, it’s as though nothing is going on. No emotion. There is something there. I’ve felt it since the beginning.

Maybe it’s me. The biological Mom looked as I would expect. Just watching the video, you can tell she’s upset. Dad and Step-dad I also thought gen. looked upset. Step-mom, something is up with you. All I saw with you is drama for the camera. As the other 3 looked desperate to find this boy, you didn’t. You didnt show emotion. Something is up with you, no doubt.
