Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" video started the trend, and the anime-inspired large-eye look is now all the rage.
But the FDA has not approved new contact lenses that create the illusion of bigger eyes. You can't even buy the circle lenses in the U.S. However, they can be purchased on the Internet for just $20.
Eye doctors tell "Good Morning America" that prolonged wear can lead to infections, and that an incorrect fit can scratch the cornea:

Don’t blame Lady GA GA for this she is an inspiration, blame the people who let their children wear the lenses and then complain that she is to raunchy for their little snowflakes to listen to and go on a tirade to make her seem like this giant evil force thats corrupting the youth.
Lady Gaga is just ridiculous, the way she dresses, what she does to her looks. Yes the parents that allow their kids do this are to blame as well, but this woman is a really bad example, I bet that if she says she likes Kamagra Gel everyone will start using it as well.
