High-Fructose Corn Syrup 'Natural'?

sign up for the momlogic newsletter Tweet This

High-fructose corn syrup -- the gooey stuff that saturates most sugary-sweet kids' foods -- has an overall bad rap. And rightly so: It's high in calories and is a leading cause of childhood obesity -- right up there with trans fats.

But the Corn Refiners Association of America is trying to re-brand the product, calling it "natural" because, after all, it's made from corn. Check out this ad and let us know what you think. Does it change your mind about feeding the stuff to your kids?

Good issues?I would note that as somebody who truly doesn’t write on blogs much (in fact, this may be my first publish), I don’t think the time period ‘lurker’ could be very turning into to a non-posting reader. It’s now not your fault the least bit , but perhaps the blogosphere may just come up with a better, non-creepy identify for the 90% folks that revel in reading the content .
