Incest Mom Aimee Sword Gets Eight Years in Jail

Angry Mom: Thirty-six-year-old Aimee L. Sword -- who was named one of the Worst Mothers of 2009 by momlogic -- has been sentenced to eight to thirty years in prison for having sex with her own son.

Sword gave up her son for adoption when he was a few days old. She received yearly updates and pictures from the boy's family.

When he was 14, Aimee (then a mother of five) contacted him through Facebook and started a sexual relationship with him.

"When she saw this boy, something just touched off in her -- and it wasn't a mother-son relationship, it was a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship," said her lawyer, who added that Sword had been sexually and physically abused as a child. "Aimee's searching for a reason why this happened. She can't understand it. She's going to get some counseling."

She certainly needs it. Our heart goes out to this innocent boy. How could a mother do such a thing? It seriously boggles the mind.

I think one of your current ads initiated my internet browser to resize, you may well want to set up that on your blacklist.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

You may have not intended to do so, but I think you have managed to express the state of mind that a lot of people are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or where, is something a lot of us are going through.

Hey, just looking around some blogs, seems a pretty nice platform you are using. I’m currently using Wordpress for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?

Great post! I?m just starting out in community management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well - resources like this article are incredibly helpful. As our company is based in the US, it?s all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own genuine enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is useful in that case
