Moms, rejoice! Stab-, scratch- and destruction-proof televisions may be coming soon ....
Glass manufacturer Corning Incorporated announced today that its board of directors has approved a capital expenditure plan to expand the company's LCD glass and Gorilla glass manufacturing in response to "strong market demand" (otherwise known as moms with highly active children -- like ours!).
Before today, the company was advertising its amazing "stab-proof" glass, but had no deals in place. Now the company is predicting a deal as early as this fall.
