Cyclone at Astroland, New York

Cyclone, build in 1927 is a national historic landmark, the world's most famous roller coaster, and the most imitated roller coaster in the world.

Dodonpa at Fuji-Q Highland, Japan

At 170 feet tall the Dodonpa goes up to 107 mph which is reached in less than 2 seconds. It's not the fastest (There's a faster roller coaster due to be unveiled in Dubai in October) but the Dodonpa still holds the record for the fastest acceleration.

Revolution at Six Flags Magic Mountain, California

The Great American Revolution opened fittingly on 1976, at Magic Mountain became the only park in the world with a 360-degree steel looping coaster.

Insanity the Ride at Stratosphere Hotel and Casino Las Vegas

Perched over the Vegas Strip is an electric-green-colored centrifuge called Insanity, which extends 64 feet over the north edge of the of the hotel. Spinning over 40 mph, riders are angled down by 70 degrees so all they see is the street, 900 feet below.

Helter Skelter

A helter skelter is a funfair or amusement park ride with a slide built in a spiral around a high tower. Users climb up inside the tower and slide down the outside, usually on a mat. The ride inspired the Beatles song of the same name.

Montmartre Carousel,France.

This beautiful Carousel was featured in the movie "Amelie" is located in Montmartre at the foot of the Sacre Coeur. These days it plays music from the Award Winning romantic comedy as it makes it rotations.

Singapore Flyer, Singapore

The Singapore Flyer located in Singapore stands 541 feet high and maintains the title of tallest and largest Ferris wheel in the world,All 28 capsules are air conditioned and capable of holding 28 people each. It takes approximately 30 minutes for one entire revolution-rotating in a counter-clockwise direction. "The direction was changed on 4 August 2008 under the advice of Feng shui masters."

Mad Tea Party, Disneyland California

Mad Tea Party is a spinning tea cup ride at all five Disneyland-style theme parks around the world. The ride theme is from the Unbirthday Party scene of Disney's Alice In Wonderland. The ride has gained infamy over the years for the amount of guests who get motion sickness as a result of the spinning part of the ride.
