Pisces'Mommy, Why Are Those Naked People Covered in Blood?'
Groups of hot, naked celebrities (with naughty bits strategically hidden) on magazine covers is a big YAWN. Is that why the editors of Rolling Stone upped the shock value by covering the airbrushed bods in blood?
The September issue of Rolling Stone features the stars of the show "True Blood" -- Anna Paquin, Alexander Skarsgard and Stephen Moyer -- sans clothes and drenched in blood. It's pretty gory stuff.
How will you explain it to your kids when they spot the cover?

Pretty sure they splattered them with blood because they’re the stars of ‘True Blood,’ not just to “up the shock value.” It’s a great show, and I’ll definitely be picking up this issue of RS.
It is a great cover and a wonderful show and kids have nothing to do with it. if you don’t want your kids to see it, then keep them away from every playboy magazine and every scary movie.
You are all right, kids shouldn’t even know what that is or even wonder. There are stuff not suited for children and it should stay that way. Not every time a kid finds a Viagra pill you have to tell them the whole ED story.

Um since when do adults need to explain adult magazines to kids? Shouldn’t they be reading their own books/magazines. this stuff is SO far off my kids’ radars, but if they saw it and asked a question I’d say it’s about a grown up tv show. SERIOUSLY we need to stop trying to make the world revolve around these “special little snowflake children”
