"Spaceheadz" is a book about Michael K., who just started fifth grade at a new school. As if that weren't hard enough, the kids he's made friends with aren't kids at all: They're aliens who have invaded our planet -- in the form of schoolchildren and a hamster! They have a mission to complete: to convince 3,140,001 kids to "Be SPHDZ." But with a hamster as their leader, "kids" who talk like walking advertisements and Michael K. as their first convert, will the SPHDZ be able to keep their cover and pull off their assignment?
Jon Scieszka, the author of "Spaceheadz," is the Library of Congress's first National Ambassador for Young People's Literature. He is the author of some of the best-known, funniest children's books, including "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs," "The Time Warp Trio" series and the Caldecott Honor Book "The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales." Jon is a former elementary-school teacher and an avid promoter of literacy, particularly for boys. His website -- GuysRead focuses on his national campaign.

This giveaway is awesome!! My son has been bugging me for a netbook and he is hoping to get one for X-mas. With 3 kids it is hard but I would just love to see his face when he gets one, whether it is at X-mas or another time. He wants one so bad. Good Luck all.
