49 Kids Die in Hot Cars in U.S. This Year

Over the weekend, yet another child died after being left in a hot car. She was the 49th child in the U.S. to die that way this year. When will it STOP?!
According to the Daily Mail, 14-month-old Kimberly James was allegedly left in the family vehicle in a church parking lot for more than three hours while temperatures in Florida reached over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
The dead girl's father is believed to be a pastor at the Holiness Born Again Church and had been taking part in the morning service.
Kimberly is the 49th child to die this way in the U.S. this year, according to statistics gathered by the group Kids and Cars.
The number of deaths eclipses a previous record of 45.

It will stop when we stop being human. We all make mistakes and I can’t imagine the horrible guilt that these parents will now have to live with for the rest of their lives. Maybe someone could develop a car warning system for this type of problem.
