Jane from L.A.: He's finally here!

Here's the e-mail sent out by my husband:

At 8:09 this morning Jane and I welcomed our son into the world!

Gandalf R2-D2 Wiseman is 6 lbs. 7 oz. Mother and baby are doing well.

Pictures and real name will follow shortly.

Then mine:

He was born today at 8:09 AM. He weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz. and is 19 3/4 inches long. We're so proud of our little guy.

A name and pictures will follow shortly. Joe and I are still "discussing" the middle name.  "R2-D2" ... really?

And then later:

Still no middle name ... but Alexander (blank) Wiseman says hello!
