WTH?! A $15,000 Life-Size Gingerbread House?

The Neiman Marcus Christmas book is out, and as usual, their 'Fantastic Gifts' never fail to make us ask -- who the hell would buy that?! Remember last year's $25,000 cupcake?
This year's jaw-dropping item is a $15,000 edible gingerbread playhouse that's handcrafted in 381 lbs. of gourmet gingerbread and 517 lbs. of royal icing by the expert confectioners at Dylan's Candy Bar.
The mouthwatering manor stands at 6.6 feet high by 5.25 feet wide by 4.1 feet deep.
We can't wait to read in US magazine what celeb has this at their holiday party!
I think it’s very cute! I would love to have my own but not for that price… I would rather put a down payment on a house and decorate it like a gingerbread house for Christmas. It would be fun to try to create my own for $100-$200 though.
I think it’s cute, so I made my own. http://family.go.com/holiday-crafts-contest/merry-masterpieces-category/life-size-gingerbread-playhouse-42574/
Interesting info. Nice to read. I’ve just got a single point to give about funny t-shirts.

If it was plastic instead of real and was $500 I’d buy but no way the real thing, its just going to end up in the trash.
