This is how I feel about my own hair and I am so overwhelmed and overjoyed that Sesame Street created this puppet and song it has circulated through my circle of friend on Facebook with in the last week. I just hope more little girls are able to see this and become inspired and empowered to love themselves just the way God made them.
Can I have a word of advice? I’m sure you’ve got sth good over here. But imagine if you also included a few references to a page that backs up what you are you mentioned? Or possibly you may give us some extra information to look at, something that might associate just what you are saying, something concrete?
I saw this with my son the other day and was SO happy that Sesame Street thought to put it in. This could really make a difference to a little girl’s self esteem, knowing that they are beautiful without straightening.
