Duggars Make Their Own Laundry Detergent

Recession Mama Michele Ashamalla: While I was doing some late-night channel surfing, I came across an episode of TLC's "19 Kids & Counting." I am pretty fascinated by anyone with inordinate amounts of children and how they function on a day-to-day basis.
In this episode, they were doing laundry. Loads and loads of laundry that made my eight loads a week seem paltry by comparison. They were also making their own laundry detergent, which seemed insane to me. When I saw how much they used, though, I could see it was a big savings!
