Want to know what the Food Network chefs consider their must-have Thanksgiving gadgets?
Susannah Locketti: We turned to Food Network host Sunny Anderson for her recommendation on what tools you need to make Thanksgiving great:
1. A meat thermometer: Every mom needs a great internal thermometer with a digital readout. Nobody wants to get sick, and this way, you know exactly when your meat is cooked, based on its internal temperature.
2. A sharp edge: Moms also need a standard carving knife. Stay away from the electric carving knife; it ruins the Norman Rockwell moment of carving the turkey!
3. A fat separator: This gadget is great for removing fat from gravies if you are using pan drippings to make a homemade version.
